Just making a point that there are some collector's who keep all their tapes sealed up which means they don't play them at all...which shows that they are faking the funk. Also, Ebay diggers are straight up suckers! Much props to all the real tape collectors who either kept their tape collection from back in the day or go out and dig for their stuff. This is real Hip Hop shit!
DeleteYeah, I hear what you are saying.. But In Europe you don't just "dig stuff out" though. Not outside Germany and/or the UK in any case. Tapes were never distributed or manufactured in my country. Ebay, Amazon etc. is the only way for some of us to get our hands on cassettes. Im sure you can find loads of tapes in the US, in thrift-shops, recordstores and whatnot.. It's impossible to be a "Real tape collector" in my part of the World though, I envy Americans and your easy access to tapes, I imagine you guys find Classic shit on tape in every yard-sale you go to
